Requirements

Responsibilities

• Participate in maintenance and repair of water mains and lines
• Install or replace water meters
• Read water meters
• Flush water lines and hydrants
• Perform connects and disconnects water utility service
• Maintenance and repair of city sewer lines and sewer treatment facilities
• Transport materials, tools, and supplies
• Clean and wash equipment and tools
• General maintenance of City facilities, water treatment plant, and sewer treatment plant
• Mow and maintain grounds of City property
• Perform work on street projects
• Transport equipment and pull equipment on trailers
• Animal control and kennel maintenance
• Fill out and complete paperwork, forms, and work orders for assigned jobs
• Follow oral and written instructions
• Communicate effectively with others including the public
• Any other duties as assigned
