About The Position
The position involves repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. The technician will use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to ensure the proper functioning of equipment. The role requires observing mechanical devices in operation, dismantling devices to access defective parts, and performing inspections to detect imperfections. The technician will also be responsible for lubricating and cleaning parts, initiating purchase orders for parts, and performing other related duties as assigned.
