About The Position

The General Maintenance Technicians are responsible for completing non-technical building maintenance. Duties including resident work orders and vacant apartments for occupancy. In addition, daily trash pick-up and building/ground policing is required.

Requirements

• 1 year experience as a residential maintenance technician
• Valid Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining grounds and common areas on a daily basis
• Maintaining equipment, storage and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Preparing vacant apartments for occupancy
• Completing resident work order requests in a timely and proficient manner
• Conducting general carpentry, drywall, painting and minor electrical work
• Conducting routine plumbing and appliance repair
• Working a routine on-call emergency response schedule
• Performing snow removal
• Informing Lead Maintenance Technician of maintenance needs
• Communicating effectively with the Community Manager all maintenance issues.
