About The Position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves performing mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on various plant equipment, including plastic extrusion lines and electrical systems. The position requires proficiency in PLC-based control systems and the use of SAP Maintenance Module software. Requirements

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of 480v 3-phase systems.
• Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency with multimeters.
• 1+ year of electrical maintenance on PLCs and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Electro-mechanical degree preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance.
• Skills in welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on all plant equipment.
• Install and setup barrels and screws on all extruders.
• Complete welding and fabrication work as needed.
• Manage process repairs, improvements, and capital projects.
• Use SAP Maintenance Module software to generate work orders, track labor, and consume materials/parts.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and make component adjustments and/or repairs.
• Work with electrical systems up to 480v.
• Use a multimeter for various tasks including swapping motors and working with AC/DC power.
