About the position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all plant equipment and production machinery, including CNC machines and robotic automation cells. This role requires self-motivation and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in a production environment, while also performing preventative and predictive maintenance in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment and production machinery including CNC machines and robotic automation cells.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
- Read schematics, ladder logic, and electrical drawings.
- Locate and replace faulty electrical components and troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Wire panels, run conduit, and complete electrical projects.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble all plant and production machinery.
- Replace ball screws, motors, drives, gearboxes, covers, pumps, and spindles.
- Analyze and interpret various types of test equipment.
- Work with production personnel to develop solutions to quality issues and continuous improvement projects.
- Trace wiring, isolate electrical components, and understand ladder logic.
- Maintain and repair facility equipment as directed by maintenance supervision.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2-3 years' experience with machining maintenance required.
- Associates degree in robotics technology, mechanical, electrical, or PLC programming preferred but not required.
- Operator Permit for Overhead Crane and Aerial Lift.
