About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance on the physical structures of the building and the grounds, ensuring guest rooms are maintained, and assisting with various maintenance tasks as needed. The technician must be available for on-call duties and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Pool certification required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and repairs.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, lawn care, and snow removal.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment following manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms quarterly, logging repairs and scheduling maintenance.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance tasks such as painting and equipment servicing.
• Repair parking lots and sidewalks as needed.
• Operate snow removal equipment to maintain outdoor areas.
• Assist housekeeping with moving furniture and storing supplies.
