About The Position

GTA Containers, a leading defense contractor, is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Must have great customer service skills.
• Must have great problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• 2–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnosing problems with equipment and machinery; making necessary repairs.
• Maintaining records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Effectively communicating with supervisors and team leads regarding work status and issues.
• Understanding mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Must know 480V and 220V three phase.
• Must know 110V electrical.
• Understanding and adhering to safety regulations.
• Be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be proficient with hand and power tools.
• Assist in the installation and startup of new machinery and production lines.
