About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Funtierland Vacation Rentals is responsible for ensuring the functionality and good condition of multiple vacation homes. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently while adhering to health and safety guidelines. The technician will troubleshoot and repair various issues, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair assigned work orders related to vacation homes.
• Proactively survey vacation homes for repairs and improvements.
• Document all work performed following standard operating procedures.
• Review the work of house cleaners and other onsite team members.
• Inspect alarm systems, appliances, HVAC, and general household systems regularly.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and handyman tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or handyman.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot effectively.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other residential systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

• Willingness to be flexible with schedule including working some weekend days and on-call evening shifts.
