Maintenance Trainee | New Albany
About The Position
Morgan Properties offers a full-time paid training program called 'Fix It Forward' to train individuals to become Maintenance Technicians. No prior apartment maintenance experience is needed. The program is designed for dependable individuals who are ready to learn hands-on work. It typically lasts 3 to 6 months and involves progressing through three levels: Beginner (focus on safety, tools, basic tasks), Intermediate (more repairs, less supervision), and Advanced (complex work, preparing for a permanent role). Participants receive on-the-job training, company-paid EPA & CPO certifications, and pay raises at each training level. Upon successful completion, trainees are placed into a permanent Maintenance Technician role with additional benefits.
