About The Position

Morgan Properties offers a full-time paid training program, known as the 'Fix It Forward Program,' designed to train individuals to become Maintenance Technicians. No prior apartment maintenance experience is required. The program is ideal for dependable individuals who are eager to learn and enjoy hands-on work. It includes comprehensive on-the-job training, company-paid EPA & CPO certifications, and a clear career path leading to a permanent Maintenance Technician role. The training typically spans 3 to 6 months, during which trainees progress through three distinct levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, with pay raises awarded at each successful transition.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety procedures and basic maintenance tasks.
• Utilize tools effectively for various repairs.
• Execute repairs with increasing independence and less supervision.
• Handle complex maintenance work as skills develop.
• Travel to nearby sister properties for training purposes.
• Work effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Lift tools and materials as required for maintenance tasks.
