The Maintenance Technician at The Lea Woodstock is responsible for ensuring high-quality living conditions for residents by performing various maintenance tasks. This role emphasizes customer service, timely responses to resident requests, and maintaining the property to ensure safety and satisfaction.

  • Prepares make ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
  • Responds to resident requests in a timely manner with a professional attitude.
  • Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean and operational.
  • On-call scheduling may be required to respond to after-hour emergencies.
  • Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Attends and participates in training programs as required by Cushman and Wakefield.
  • Delivers superior customer service and represents the company professionally at all times.
  • Maintains all safety procedures and safeguards company tools and equipment.
  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school education.
  • 1+ years of related experience in maintenance or a similar role.
  • Valid Driver's license, EPA 608 - Minimum Type II, and CPO or local city required certificate.
  • Knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, and painting.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals and safety rules.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and prepare bar graphs.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
