About The Position

The Maintenance Technician Sr position at Luminant Mining Company is responsible for ensuring the maximum availability, utilization, and productivity of mining equipment. This role involves providing technical assistance, coordinating contractor activities, and managing the acquisition of parts and materials to support mine operations effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Five years of related maintenance/materials experience.
• Related experience in mining is preferred.
• PC skills and good working knowledge of applications such as Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to maintenance for equipment and personnel scheduling to ensure maximum availability and utilization.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and components for timely maintenance.
• Order materials and equipment as required to meet mining site needs.
• Coordinate shipping, repair, and return of mine equipment and parts.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Interface with maintenance staff, mine site operations groups, and vendors to ensure effective maintenance support.
• Participate in special projects and committee assignments as requested.
