We manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties and are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team to provide maintenance support at our Siteline community in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate is skilled in all areas of property maintenance, including cleaning, painting, and general repairs. Our Maintenance Technician must also have excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.

  • Assist in carrying out the implementation of various policies, standards, procedures and programs relating to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the properties.
  • Initiate, perform, and manage maintenance projects including cleaning.
  • Ensure that maintenance and custodial issues are attended to in a timely fashion.
  • Perform walk-through of properties to ensure that immediate maintenance and custodial issues are attended to in a timely fashion.
  • Perform unit turns including but not limited to: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs, and interior painting.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor to order and take inventory of maintenance supplies within the limits of the properties’ budgets and at the most effective cost.
  • Ensure that all common area facilities and related equipment are maintained in accordance with all warrantees and manufacturers’ specifications (pools, spas, elevators, HVAC, etc.).
  • Address and follow up as necessary on all residents’ work order requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Enter completed work order information into YARDI daily.
  • Consistently maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents and coworkers.
  • Ensure the property is compliant with OSHA standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Minimum of 1 year residential/multifamily property maintenance experience is required.
  • Have excellent time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, multitasker and achieve high-quality results under tight deadlines and changing work priorities.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be a reliable, organized, motivated, professional.
  • Must have access to immediate and reliable transportation for after hours on call emergencies or transporting materials between communities.
