About The Position

Maintenance Technician - Semiconductor This position is onsite in our Thornton, Colorado location Summary/Objective Forge Nano Inc, a fast-growing materials company with a focus on manufacturing nano-scale coating equipment across a wide range of markets, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician specializing in Semiconductor equipment. This position covers a broad range of advanced service duties, including teardown, cleaning and reassembly of key system assemblies, servicing equipment in our lab. Participating in continual improvement efforts, and interacting frequently with cross functional teams, which require a friendly, patient, and professional attitude.

Requirements

  • Technical AS degree or equivalent military training with 4+ years’ experience
  • Strong proficiency with hand tools used in mechanical maintenance and assembly
  • Experience working with precision mechanical components and tight tolerances
  • Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Familiarity with torque specifications and proper fastener techniques
  • Industry relevant service experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience
  • Prior experience in service and equipment repair in a cleanroom environment
  • Prior experience in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of capital chemical processing equipment, while complying with customer procedures
  • Understanding of industrial safety standards and handling of hazardous materials
  • Experience following and/or writing work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Diligent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with stringent deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical subassemblies using hand tools
  • Use precision hand tools (e.g., torque wrenches, hex keys, screwdrivers, micrometers, calipers) to meet exact specifications
  • Replace consumables, seals, fittings, valves, fasteners, and mechanical components
  • Follow work instructions, mechanical drawings, and torque specifications accurately
  • Own the cleaning and rebuild process of parts and assemblies returning from the field.
  • Co-author and follow necessary documentation for procedures, processes, and best-known-methods including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and completing relevant checklists
  • Support in-house semiconductor tool operations, and maintenance requirements
  • Order / install parts and help manage inventory system
  • Maintain a safe work environment and staying OSHA compliant with relevant safety training
  • Adhere to both internal and customer standards of conduct
