About The Position
The position involves performing routine maintenance on all building equipment, including HVAC and production equipment. The individual will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the property, ensuring machinery is in good working order, and notifying the Manufacturing Manager of any necessary repairs. Safety precautions must be observed to prevent fires or explosions, and the individual will monitor gauges and recording instruments to ensure specified conditions are maintained. Daily checks on production scales and forklifts are required, along with the development of a preventative maintenance program and updating the software daily. The role also includes supporting other areas of the plant as designated by the Plant Operation manager and communicating with external parties such as customers and vendors.
