About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality by performing maintenance related tasks. Our Team Members play a pivotal role in the success of the company’s performance, and we look forward to witnessing your successful journey as a Ranger!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• Current Valid Driver's License.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site).
• Advanced communication and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service within 24 to 48 hours.
• Completes the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance shop.
• Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion.
• May periodically inspect work performed by contractors, vendors and other service providers.
• Complies with RangeWater Residential’s safety and risk-management policies.
• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect.
• Assists in conducting routine and periodic property inspections in person.
