About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Pine Valley Apartments is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the community, performing minor repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the property. This full-time position requires a dependable and hardworking individual with experience in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver's License.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
• Good communication skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Previous experience in property management or as a service technician is preferred.
• EPA Certification is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or trade apprenticeship or training.
• One year of residential service technician experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the interior and exterior of the community.
• Assist with minor repairs such as electrical, plumbing, concrete masonry, roofing, painting, and carpentry.
• Perform exterior maintenance including grounds upkeep, signage, outdoor furniture maintenance, pool upkeep, litter removal, and snow/ice removal.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and residents.
• Participate in snow and ice removal as needed.
