About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance duties and repairs on the Community buildings and equipment. This part-time position involves maintaining and repairing heating and cooling units, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration units as directed. The technician will make periodic rounds to check equipment and ensure that necessary tools and supplies are available for assigned tasks. Additionally, the technician will maintain records of repair work, notify the supervisor of equipment and supply needs, assist residents with move in/out, conduct property surveillance as needed, and submit reports and recommendations to the Director of Maintenance regarding maintenance services. Other duties and special projects may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years general maintenance experience in an institutional setting required.
