About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in millwright work, welding, hydraulics, electrical systems, and fabrication. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment, tackling complex mechanical challenges to ensure the optimal performance of our industrial equipment.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Millwright, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on millwright tasks, welding, hydraulics, electrical systems and paint booth systems
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with fabrication tools and techniques.
  • Certifications: Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred.
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation certification a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Maintenance & Repair: Install, dismantle, repair, and maintain heavy machinery and equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Align and calibrate machinery using precision tools to meet operational specifications.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they lead to downtime.
  • Automated Paint Line systems Welding & Fabrication: Utilize welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and structures.
  • Cut, grind, and assemble metal parts to create custom solutions for equipment modifications and repairs.
  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
  • Replace seals, gaskets, and other components to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and control panels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes during all electrical work.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
