About The Position
The Maintenance Technician at Orange Gardens is a vital role responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and functionality of the apartment complex, which consists of 52 units located in Poway, CA. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring that all maintenance needs are met promptly and efficiently. The technician will be engaged in both routine and emergency maintenance, addressing issues that arise in the apartments and common areas. This includes performing repairs, conducting inspections, and maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the property. As part of the maintenance team, the technician will be responsible for a wide range of duties including painting, cleaning carpets, servicing appliances, and repairing plumbing and electrical fixtures. Regular inspections of the grounds and buildings will be required to identify any maintenance needs, and the technician will be expected to report these to the site manager. The role also includes janitorial duties and maintaining an inventory of tools and supplies necessary for effective maintenance operations. The technician will work closely with supervisors and may assist with other maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to a well-maintained living environment for residents.
