About The Position

The position involves working closely with the Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program aimed at eliminating downtime in trouble areas. The role requires repairing production equipment safely and efficiently after breakdowns, working on assigned projects, fabricating and installing new equipment, and maintaining machinery according to a Preventative Maintenance Program. Additionally, the position involves troubleshooting equipment, utilizing safe work habits, wearing appropriate PPE, and complying with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures, including HSE and Quality policies. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Standing up to 12 hours daily.
• Walking up to 12 hours daily.
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily.
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.
• Travel less than 10%.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Background in fabrication, mechanical, and electrical repair with the use of shop tools.
• A forklift license is preferred.

Responsibilities
