About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position at Milk Specialties Company involves performing preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on equipment and facilities during the night shift. Requirements

• 2 - 3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Desire to learn and show initiative.
• Ability to pass Forklift License Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of equipment and building.
• Maintain PM logs.
• Perform general maintenance on the facility - sanitary and structural.
• Troubleshoot production equipment.
• Keep Management informed of potential issues.
• Maintain log records and timeliness.
• Certified to drive the forklift.
• Follow all LOTO, PRCS, and all safety procedures.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors on projects for the facility.
