About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on production systems in a highly automated yogurt manufacturing facility. This role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining production lines. The position operates on a night shift schedule from Wednesday to Saturday, with opportunities for career advancement and competitive pay.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• At least two years of experience in a maintenance capacity.
• Knowledge of production machinery repair, troubleshooting, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical/electronic skills.
• CMMS experience is highly desired.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

• Maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment is preferred.
• Ammonia Training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems and technical publications.
• Report and take necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production lines and associated assigned systems.
