Key responsibilities involve preparing apartments for new residents, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs. The technician must possess knowledge of various maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, and general carpentry. Additionally, the role includes maintaining grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure they are clean, operational, and safe. The position requires participation in an on-call schedule to address after-hours emergencies and involves reporting maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. The technician is expected to perform scheduled maintenance, adhere to state, local, and federal fair housing laws, attend required training programs, and maintain professional appearance standards and safety procedures.
