The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. The Maintenance Technician responds to our residents' service needs and is instrumental in helping deliver superior customer service to our residents. Essential job duties include preparing make ready apartments (which may involve painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping), responding to resident requests in a timely and professional manner, and possessing knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable). The role also involves maintaining grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe. On-call scheduling may be required for after-hour emergencies. The technician reports any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor, performs scheduled maintenance, adheres to state, local, and federal fair housing laws, attends required training programs, and performs all assigned duties in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service and representing the company professionally. The technician must also dress per company uniform and appearance standards, maintain safety procedures, safeguard company tools and equipment, and achieve high productivity through reliable and punctual attendance.
