About The Position

Borusan Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U. S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking full-time Millwrights for our Mobile, Alabama location. Selected candidates must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights, weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Obtain passing score of 65% on mechanical knowledge assessment (Required)
Successfully complete practical skills assessment (Required)

Nice To Haves

Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred)
Post-secondary technical education (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform onsite work adhering to safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry
Follow instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
Operate equipment including drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, pipe bender, stick welder, MIG welder, cutting torch, band saw, lifting/rigging equipment, man lift, forklift, and overhead crane
Tests, inspects, dismantles, repairs, replaces, or installs mechanical and hydraulic components, high or low-pressure piping, fittings, valves, cylinders and fixtures, as required for maintenance and construction of pipe lines for air, water, oil, gas, waste, etc.
Answer calls and troubleshoot faulty equipment
Dismantle, clean, adjust, test and repair equipment
Safely perform blocking and rigging and ensures proper use of chain falls, come-a-longs and safety equipment.
Use Maximo software to log tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily
