About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position is for the 3rd Shift, with varying hours from Monday to Friday and weekends when needed. The salary is negotiable and based on experience and training. The technician will service all plant equipment through preventive, scheduled, and emergency repair work orders. Responsibilities include diagnosing and performing repairs and calibrations on electromechanical and solid state-of-the-art equipment, assisting other team members in completing work orders/tasks per maintenance schedule, and potentially being part of the Emergency Response team. Adherence to all NEC code regulations is required, along with performing other duties assigned by Supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as well as read schematics in various departments.
• May be required to lift more than 40 lbs. at times.
• Has general understanding how chemicals work.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
• Work experience pertaining to refrigeration system.
• Ability to use multimeters and electronic test equipment, read schematics and diagrams.

Nice To Haves

• 2-year associate degree in a Maintenance related field.
• Certifications and/or Registered license in Mechanical field.

Responsibilities
