About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is tasked with maintaining and repairing equipment in a high-production environment, balancing multiple mechanical, electrical, and administrative responsibilities. This position requires working the night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:30 PM to 7 AM, with a $2 shift differential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings.
  • Willingness to develop technical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or Technical/Trade Certification in a technical discipline.
  • Relevant Technical Degree/Relevant Trade Certification.
  • Understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings.
  • PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot Pneumatic, Basic Hydraulic, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Automation (PLC and Instrumentation), Machining, and Mechanical Systems on Process and Packaging Equipment.
  • Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
  • Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging Equipment.
  • Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover, and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
  • Document Work Orders (WO) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance).
  • Engage in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts, participate in Pillar Teams, and train fellow Technicians/Operators in AM activities, including conducting Breakdown Analysis (BDA’s).
  • Adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures, and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
