About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician Level 2, you’ll perform advanced maintenance, repairs, installations, and upgrades on a variety of production and facility equipment. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for experienced maintenance professionals ready to take the next step in their careers.

Requirements

  • Score of 50–68 on the Ramsey Maintenance Test or 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to read schematics and interpret complex technical instructions
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently and handle shifting priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro/Mechanical, Electronics, or Robotics preferred
  • Advanced fabrication, machining, welding, and mechanical upgrade skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute maintenance projects from start to finish
  • Perform equipment changeovers on Flexo presses, folders, formers, conveyors, and packaging systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems
  • Conduct and document preventative maintenance tasks
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to track repairs, labor, and parts usage
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, GMP, and SQF standards
  • Mentor and train less experienced technicians
