Northrop Grumman is currently seeking either a Maintenance Technician Level 2 or Maintenance Technician Level 3 to support our Maintenance Team on site at our ACCE Facility Clearfield, Utah location.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • For Level 2: 2 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright.
  • For Level 3: 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
  • Ability to support a Night shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.) or Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems.
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment.
  • Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes.
  • Support Maintenance Team with other duties as assigned.
