About The Position
Conifer Realty is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team at Leland Gardens Apartments, a community comprising 256 units located in Plainfield, NJ. This full-time position offers a competitive pay structure with the potential for semi-annual bonuses, and it is designed for self-motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of our apartment community. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that both the indoor and outdoor areas of the property are well-maintained and presented in a clean and appealing manner. The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician will include a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the property’s aesthetic and functional quality. Indoor maintenance tasks will encompass routine painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical work, flooring, and other maintenance activities as needed. The technician will also be responsible for preparing vacant units for new residents. Outdoor responsibilities will involve managing trash, mowing lawns, trimming shrubbery, cultivating flower beds, and performing snow and ice removal as necessary. The technician will be expected to communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely follow-up on work orders and respond to emergency on-call duties within 30 minutes of notification. This position requires adaptability to changing work priorities and the flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
