About The Position

A Maintenance Technician Team Lead is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to perform a variety of highly diverse duties such as trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes that support the achievement of Company’s business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma/GED.
  • 5+years’ experience in Assembly, Manufacturing and Equipment Maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Electrical systems installation single and three phases.
  • Pneumatic systems maintenance.
  • Control systems troubleshooting (PLC).
  • Operation of Tool Room Equipment (I.E. Lathes, Grinders, Welding & Fabricating, Mill, Drill Pressetc.).
  • Problem Solving Skills.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Team oriented.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Ability to cover other shifts and weekends as needed; ability to work overtime.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Acts as an independent leader and also transitions to a team player when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical repair experience preferred
  • Control system experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Responsible for all production equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Assign daily shift tasks.
  • Assure all PM’s assigned to shift are completed according to the PM schedule.
  • Check equipment status at start of shift, example. Compressors, Generator, Building Lighting, etc.
  • Line up incoming Team Lead on status of production, issues on experienced on shift, and any work being transferred to the incoming shift.
  • Responsible for facility maintenance.
  • Responsible for the training of TM’s assign to that shift.
  • Build, design, assemble, and debug new equipment.
  • Responsible for promoting a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining the mechanical and electrical components on an automotive component assembly line, build, machine, and debug equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, both production and facility.
  • All other duties as assigned.
