As a Maintenance Technician, your role, in the bigger picture, is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. This position will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift). Requirements

  • 1+ years’ electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V).
  • Service and repair of production related electrical equipment including knowledge of power distribution and lighting systems, AC/DC motors and transformers, machine and line control devices, fluid control and distribution, electronic controls and instrumentation, variable frequency drives, and basic PLC knowledge/ interpretation capabilities.
  • Ability to demonstrate safe practices and tools for while working with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems and components.
  • Operate & maintain shop tools and equipment, such as pipe threader and band saw.
  • Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting.
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus such as multimeters and megohmmeters.
  • Use proper equipment to test, repair, & verify various forms of digital & analog signals.
