About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician III at JLL, you will play a pivotal role in leading service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. This position is integral to the Operations Maintenance team, where you will be responsible for designing solutions to complex problems and managing various projects. Your leadership will extend to training and mentoring both service and contract technicians, ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and protocols. You will be tasked with maintaining and troubleshooting all conveyor systems within the facility, leading and auditing preventative maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance. Your technical skills will be utilized in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various control components, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids. You will also be responsible for creating and closing out work orders, documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Building positive working relationships across the Operations facility will be essential, as will developing training plans for service technicians and work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets. The physical demands of the job include moving up to 49 lbs and standing or walking during shifts that can last up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. Additionally, you should be prepared for travel requirements of up to 20%.
