About The Position

Perform trouble shooting and repairs to both bottling and thermoforming equipment to support packaging operations.Change over packaging equipment as stipulated in a production schedule.Performs preventive maintenance on packaging and support equipment.Initiates work orders in CMMS for repairs and or adjustments to equipment.Adhere to Abbvie's code of conduct. Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met. Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysisCapable of training others on tasks. Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans.Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks.Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization. Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree.
• 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).

Nice To Haves

• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation preferred.
