As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform tasks such as calibrating, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting production equipment in a high-level cleanroom environment, assisting with inventory management of supplies, as well as fabrication of fixtures by utilizing a variety of hand-powered tools, manual machining equipment. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship
  • 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent education/vocational training.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent equipment troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of cleanroom assembly protocols and manufacturing procedures.
  • Ability to set up and operate manual machining equipment (drill, mill, etc.) to fabricate a variety of fixtures and components.
  • Ability to wire and/or troubleshoot control panels and electrical circuits utilizing schematics.
  • Ability to plumb and or troubleshoot pneumatic circuits utilizing schematics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Basic proficiency with PLCs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.
  • Excellent time-management skills to prioritize projects.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative maintenance, conducts calibration, and executes tooling changeovers for production equipment in accordance with requirements and cleanroom standards.
  • Utilizes a variety of hand-powered tools, drill presses, and manual mills to fabricate components or fixtures to be utilized in machinery.
  • Assists in SAP equipment profile creation.
  • Performs wiring and plumbing tasks by utilizing schematics detailing pneumatic and electrical circuits.
  • Assists in the procurement of spare parts to maintain reliable inventory levels.
  • Participates in integration of machine components during implementation of equipment.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots cleanroom equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Leverages understanding of PLCs to modify existing product profiles in automated machinery as needed per requirements.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining detailed equipment documentation.
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with Maintenance Manager, fellow technicians, and production team to reach department goals.
  • Supports facilities maintenance and manufacturing engineering projects.
  • Strictly follows cleanroom protocols. This includes the use of specified protective gear and garments designed to maintain clean and controlled work environment conditions.
  • Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures.
  • Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization.
