TC Transcontinental is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician III to maintain the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds for our Griffin, GA location.

Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and have a working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment.
  • Skills need to include but not limited to the troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment. This includes AC and DC variable speed drives, heat controllers, packaging equipment, printing presses, pneumatic and hydraulic controlled devices.
  • Reading, writing, and arithmetic

Responsibilities

  • Performs varied maintenance duties to include work orders and preventive maintenance to meet established maintenance and operations objectives.
  • Organizes work for smooth, efficient operations. Accurately tracks all time and materials used to perform work orders and other repairs using both manual and electronic means.
  • Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs necessary repairs. Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager before modifying any plant equipment.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System.
