About The Position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Maintenance Technician III to contribute to our Distribution team in Lavergne, TN. Under limited supervision, this person will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment. The Technician will ensure that all equipment in the distribution center facility is maintained properly, by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This individual will partner with leadership in daily support to internal customers and the maintenance team. Want to join a key team that helps the world read? Requirements

  • Technical Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 5+ years in a facility maintenance position, with 2+ years in electrical repair.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • 2 years conveyor maintenance and repair experience

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and schedule equipment repairs and Preventative Maintenance, in collaboration with the management team.
  • Assist in determining needs for equipment, parts and supplies.
  • Evaluate equipment failures and provide complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
  • Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
  • Partner with leadership to drive successful implementation of team objectives.
  • Effectively communicate technical/automation needs and concerns to internal and external customers, to include Engineering.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and vendors to ensure target achievements in technical/maintenance support.
