About The Position

As our new Maintenance Technician III, you will perform intermediate-level repairs and predictive maintenance to sustain equipment reliability and keep Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) above 85%. Your expertise will reduce downtime and improve production efficiency. The Maintenance Department ensures equipment reliability and operational efficiency to support production and safety goals. Danfoss engineers solutions that increase machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption, and enable electrification. Our solutions are used in such areas as refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, power conversion, motor control, industrial machinery, automotive, marine, and off- and on-highway equipment. We also provide solutions for renewable energy, such as solar and wind power, as well as district-energy infrastructure for cities. Our innovative engineering dates back to 1933. Requirements

  • Three or more years maintenance experience and a technical diploma
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
  • Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, plasma cutting, pipe threading)
  • Ability to use Maximo on a tablet for work order management

Responsibilities

  • Perform predictive maintenance, including vibration analysis and electrical work (24V-480V)
  • Weld and fabricate using CPVC and stainless steel materials
  • Repair pumps, valves, and hoists to maintain system integrity
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate repairs
  • Assist with PLC I/O troubleshooting and lead small improvement projects
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
  • Executing welding and fabrication tasks for equipment upgrades
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to complete scheduled and emergency work orders in Maximo
  • Maintain OEE at 85% or higher through timely repairs
  • Complete predictive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule
  • Lead small projects that improve equipment reliability and safety
