About The Position

The position involves performing a variety of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, and refrigeration operations. This includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial equipment. The role requires regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, as well as responding to work requests and completing general facilities repairs in a timely manner. The individual will maintain and repair various machinery and equipment while ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Routine checks and evaluations of necessary maintenance to the facilities are also part of the job, along with providing recommendations for facilities improvements. The position includes maintaining and organizing spare parts and consumables, performing minor construction and installation of fixtures and accessories, and training and coaching internal team members. In emergencies, the individual must respond quickly, notifying appropriate personnel and following safety protocols. The role also involves detecting faulty operations, defective materials, and reporting any unusual situations to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Additionally, the individual will provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service. They will also provide materials lists, method plans, and schedules for small to medium-sized projects, participate in the production improvement process, demonstrate root cause analysis techniques, and recommend Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) procedures. The role may require creating drawings, diagrams, and schematics after analyzing data, and performing other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial, and PLC experience required.
  • Previous experience with five (5) to twenty (20) ton A/C units.
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and experience.
