Hourly compensation: Starting at $21.00, depending upon experience Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Tech 2 to join our team! This role is responsible for overseeing the care and maintenance of all aspects of the community’s physical plant to include routine and preventative maintenance duties as assigned through our work order system. Work orders will include duties such as wall and floor cover fixes, light plumbing work, minor electrical repairs, minor building and equipment repairs, grounds maintenance to include pulling trash, flipping mattresses, carpet cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. Work orders are performed both inside resident homes and commons spaces as well as outside.
Requirements
- Valid Driver License with satisfactory driving record
- Certification, Licenses, or Registrations in at least one of the following: Appliance Repair, Swimming Pool Maintenance, HVAC Certification
- Ability to work in a mixture of environments such as standard indoor office as well as outdoor conditions with moderate noise levels, exposure to fluorescent lighting, and inclement weather conditions.
- Minimum 4 years maintenance experience preferred
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shelter in place during inclement weather such as hurricanes when needed
