Requirements

  • 2+ years prior experience in a maintenance role
  • Must have basic computer skills with the ability to input data and notes in English into software programs
  • Must be able to supply own tools
  • Drivers license may be required (ex: operating golf cart on company property)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years experience in multifamily property management preferred
  • Intermediate experience in unit turns and appliance repair
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
  • Partners with leasing staff and managers to ensure seamless communication and organization.
  • Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
  • Participates in safety meetings and abides by all OSHA,SDS safety requirements.
  • Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
  • Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
  • Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
  • Emergency on-call is required as part of the position.
  • Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for excellent customer service.
  • Performs all additional duties assigned by Direct Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager, or Regional team member.
