About The Position

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties which may include installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining, facilities and/or production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • May require standing for long periods of time; lifiting up to 25 pounds frequently & 50 pounds occasionally; working at heights exceeding 15 feet; negotiating steps, stools and ladders; frequently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE); requires stand, bend, stoop, squat, twist
  • Power Industrial (PIT) certification
  • may need to be out in various inclement weather
  • This position will have access to ITAR product and therefore be authorized to access product.
  • This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen or National, or a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20), or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of general maintenance and repair to equipment and/or buildings at an assigned facility(s).
  • Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and performs electrical control and mechanical repair on conveyors, forklifts, and other related automated warehouse equipment.
  • May performs plumbing, painting and carpentry throughout the facility.
  • May troubleshoot, repair and/or replace electrical equipment, switches, fixtures, lighting, and wiring.
  • May measure, cut, pull wiring and install electrical conduit.
  • May inspect electrical equipment and wiring for hazards and make repairs as necessary.
  • Completes and updates HVAC documentation, log books and maintenance schedules.
  • Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
  • Maintain and/or updated electronic and/or hard copy record as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
