Your Opportunity, Your Team The Maintenance Technician II supports QVC, and performs basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. Where You'll Work This role is onsite and will require you to work from our QVC Florence Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager.

Requirements

  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, sortation equipment, or similar industrial machinery in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of industrial mechanic trade school courses or certifications (electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
  • Working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Occasionally be on call or work overtime.
  • Can repeatedly lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, and conveyor systems.
  • Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment.
  • Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical.
  • Conveyor, Automation, and Sorter Systems – Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment.
  • Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.
  • System Installation, Design, Construction and Repair –Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment.
  • Record Keeping – Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data.
  • Read technical manuals and document changes.
