About The Position

This role ensures the safe, efficient operation of production machinery through
consistent adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards, while
actively maintaining and improving preventative maintenance programs.
Additionally, the role involves guiding Level I Maintenance Technicians,
supporting production processes, and keeping detailed maintenance records to
contribute to overall plant performance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience required
• A High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to complete company-provided controls, electrical, mechanical, and/or tooling training

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or exposure with controls, electrical, mechanical, and/or tooling maintenance preferred
• Previous experience with PLCs preferred
• Previous experience with vision systems (like quality inspection, robotics, or automation) preferred, or willingness to learn
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of production floor machinery and equipment throughout the plant
• Sustain and improve our preventative maintenance programs and maintenance techniques on all machinery and equipment
• Assist in directing activities and provide technical direction to Level I Maintenance Technicians in repairing, testing, and troubleshooting equipment
• Production support with changeover, product set-up and start-up
• Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks using company preferred systems
• Interact with production supervision and staff to ensure the timely flow of required information
• Documentation of equipment maintenance performed
• Housekeeping and organization of the work area (5s) as needed
