Summary: A maintenance technician has a broad range of duties which include inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and troubleshooting various systems and equipment to maintain the safety and efficiency of the agency’s facilities and fleet. Maintenance technicians must be comfortable working with their hands and must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. This technician should be able to work independently and in a team environment. They must also have effective communication skills, as this position requires interfacing with clients and vendors. The technician must be proactive, organized, and be very detail-oriented to be successful. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician II is a mid-level position responsible for performing more complex maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment. This role requires a deeper understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
