Perform duties to maintain and repair a wide variety of complex building facilities and systems. Duties : Work from maintenance manuals, prints, work orders and instructions: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of equipment such as heating, cooling, stamping, bending, forming, welding equipment and/or electrical systems. Test and tear down equipment and replace defective parts and component units such as motors, clutches, gear tranes, belts, hoses or controls. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities, check equipment function and operation and recommend required maintenance action. Direct helpers on repair projects. Assist in training departmental employees. Install or assist in the installation or relocation of equipment. Perform work on any 277 and/or 480 systems. Troubleshoot PLC with handheld or laptop devices. Use pneumatic tools, grease gun, painting tools, forklift, multi-meters and common hand tools. Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition. Perform other related duties as assigned.
