What you will do: Maintain and operate electrical systems, DC systems, and station control components, including switchgear, motors, batteries, chargers, PLCs, HMIs, and safety devices. Operate and monitor station prime movers, compressors, valves, and auxiliary systems (air, fuel, cooling water, oil, safety), performing routine inspections and responding to alarms or abnormal conditions. Monitor operational pressures, alarm set points, and unit functions during normal operations; perform periodic checks of all operating variables. Maintain electrical control system end devices such as motor controls, transmitters, sensors, switches, solenoids, and actuators. Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 NEC, PHMSA, EPA, and company SOPs through accurate reporting and adherence to O&M manuals. Direct qualified employees in routine electrical controls, station maintenance, and operational activities. Assist in planning work, budgeting, and recommending spare parts levels to minimize downtime. Actively participate in safety programs, maintain cooperative team relationships, and project a professional company image. Perform all duties as assigned.
