About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II performs preventive and corrective maintenance independently, ensuring reliable equipment operation. This role provides technical support for production teams and mentors Level 1 technicians.
Requirements
- Intermediate troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and VFDs.
- Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Effective communication and coordination with production and QC personnel.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules with minimal supervision.
- Support production changeovers, setups, and calibration activities.
- Maintain detailed repair records, parts usage logs, and CMMS documentation.
- Identify opportunities for equipment or process improvements.
- Cross-train and maintain working knowledge of multiple systems such as Matrix baggers, Yamato scales, VideoJet printers, conveyors, and wash systems.
