About The Position

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Tucson! This role will be a primarily stationary position supporting a management team who oversees a 350-acre campus on the southeast side of town and a high-rise office building in downtown. The account is Facilities Management, staff handles a variety of tasks related to the exterior, interior and critical building systems. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for executing and completing preventative maintenance, demand repairs, general repairs and adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures as required to the satisfaction of tenant and building owners. Some things you can expect to do: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems. Conduct daily rounds, interpret system readings. Coordinate and oversee vendor work. Perform general repairs/adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.

Requirements

  • Must have general maintenance experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Participate in on-call, after-hours and weekend rotation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
  • Valid driver's license, clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications and ability to lift 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals, hear changes in equipment sounds, and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

  • Have a knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make needed adjustments and general repairs.
  • Microsoft 365 Software experience.
